The Atlantic is a front-row four-bedroom, three-bathroom holiday home located in Onrus Island, Hermanus, with breathtaking ocean views. The double storey house can accommodate up to 8 guests. Our guests love the proximity to the ever popular Onrus Main Beach which is just around the corner from the house.

BEDROOMS LAYOUT

The main bedroom contains a king-size bed, while the second bedroom is equipped with two single beds. Both these rooms are located in the main house and share two bathrooms that are equipped with a shower, toilet and basin. A separate entrance from the courtyard leads to the upstairs bedrooms three and four. Bedroom three comes equipped with a king-size bed, while bedroom 4 contains two sets of tri bunks. Bedroom 3 and 4 share a bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin.

UNIT LAYOUT

You are welcomed by an open-plan living, kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, and cutlery and crockery. For your convenience, a dishwasher is located within the kitchen, while the washer and dryer are located in the garage. The dining area has seating space for 9 people, while In the kitchen you’ll find more dining space for your convenience. The living area has a comfy lounge suite and a smart TV, WIFI, and built-in braai. The courtyard is enclosed with a boma fireplace and a gas grill while the patio has panoramic views of the ocean and is only a few meters away from it. And that there’s also an outside shower and wash area for when you return from the beach.

CAPACITY

The house can accommodate up to 8 persons. Please take note of the bedroom layout that is equipped with two tri-bunks. (Double bed at the bottom and single on top and more practical for kids)

Undercover Parking is available.

GENERAL

The house is fitted with an alarm system.

REMEMBER

It is a self catering unit, please bring along your beach towels and consumable toiletries.

TAKE NOTE

The house has no baths.

AREA

Onrus is the ideal holiday spot for visitors that want to enjoy a real South African beach holiday. These ocean waters are chilly, making them refreshing in the hot summer months. The nearby lagoon is warmer, and is also ideal for swimming (particularly for little ones that are not accustomed to the colder sea water). The beaches boast long stretches of pristine sandy shores, inviting families and friends to play Frisbee, picnic, suntan or take a dip in the cool Atlantic Ocean waters. Sailing, kiting and kayaking are also popular sports in the area.
